The Story
Diana Nakayama’s life changes the day her estranged father dies. Unknowingly, she destroys his life's work on a forgotten historical figure, Diana Apcar, before discovering a connection to her own identity. Nakayama travels across continents to piece together the story of Apcar — a woman who, a century earlier in Japan, helped thousands of refugees fleeing the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Through this journey, she attempts to reconstruct her father’s lost manuscript. With each clue, Nakayama uncovers more of the enigmatic woman’s life and how their destinies intertwine across a hundred years.
