Tevanik
Feature Film (2014) – Tevanik is Fish Eye Art Cultural Foundation’s debut full-length feature film, written by Arnold Aghababov and Karineh Khodikyan as scriptwriters and directed by Jivan Avetisyan. The film tells the powerful story of three children—Aram, Astghik, and Tevanik—living in a peaceful village disrupted by the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. Divided into three interconnected parts, each chapter reveals one child’s deeply personal experience of loss and transformation as innocence collides with the brutal realities of war. Through its intimate storytelling and emotional depth, Tevanik captures the universal impact of conflict on youth and family.
Set in the 1990s during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War,[3] is a three-part movie; the first part is about little Aram's harmonious family who tragically gets separated in one day. Aram's entire childhood ends. The second part of the film centers on Astghik.[4] Peace turns to war and she loses her friendship, her love, and her idol. Finally, the third part of the film tells a story of 14-year old, Tevanik, who becomes part of a war that changes him forever.
